MOVIES AND MEANING: A DREAM SPACE GATHERING
A new kind of festival for everyone who loves stories and light…
Movies & Meaning is more than a film festival, a conference, or a retreat. It’s a dream space laboratory for a more beautiful world. Part of the growing global movement for nonviolent transformation, Movies and Meaning is a long weekend away in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, featuring films, workshops, very special guests, dancing, magic and YOU.
The Second Annual Movies and Meaning Gathering takes place in Albuquerque, NM, from March 17-20, 2016. We'll be announcing the program soon, but here's a flavor of what we did last time:
New and old friends alike joined together to share ideas, dancing, and movies. We watched some of the most transcendent films ever made - old and new - on a magnificent silver screen with fantastic sound. We had talks & workshops on the two halves of life, the beginner's mind, and seeing as the mystics see, we were shaken up for good by some marvelous slam poetry, we danced, we laughed, we cried, and we danced again. We want to make the experience as widely accessible to as possible, and ticket pricing reflects this. The price for the four day event is $399, but we are offering 100 of our tickets at $199 and 100 at $299. We invite you to opt in at the level you can afford. There will also be an opportunity to contribute to our scholarship fund. If it’s a stretch for you to pay the full price, we wholeheartedly invite you to register at one of the lower prices. These prices will be available until they sell out. If even the $199 price is a stretch, contact us email@example.com and we’ll let you know about volunteer opportunities to offset the ticket price. Register below, and we look forward to seeing you again at Movies & Meaning in March!
